Exegeses on Genesis, for Chanukkah, and articles by the Chazal on Chassidut Chabad by Hillel MiParitch, Vilna. Binding not original, 3 last pages are restored without damage to the text, moth marks, stains from moisture and other, generally good condition.

In five volumes, with three translations and Rashi’s commentary, Toldot Aharon, and and Ba’al HaTurim, Mesorah Ketana, and Minhat Shay [Even Ezra, commentary on the Even Ezra by Rav Shlomo Netter, Rashbam, Ramban, commentary on Targum Yonatan v’Yerushalmi, Sforno] printed by Rav Shlomo (Zalman) Netter of Jerusalem. At the beginning of the book of Genesis is an introduction by Shlomo Netter, noting the achievements of this printing. He especially underlines the strict proofreading that was done, and he also registers qualifications: “if after all that you find a mistake, I will also say, Torah was not given to the serving angels, even the accurate chumashim have undergone mistakes. IF the mistakes are small in number, then it is considered an accurate chumash.” Although in Numbers, page 67, column 2, a mistake occurs and three words have been removed from 21:34 “kol emo v’et”. At the end of Deuteronomy he printed a new page on which he fixes things, but readers ripped it out and taped it in the place of the erroneous page. Before us is a copy of Numbers with the mistake remaining, Deuteronomy is missing the cover, the covers are reinforced with tape throughout, some of the volumes are a little defective, stains and wear, generally good condition.

Defense of the Torah b’al Peh, against the words of attack written by the Polish author Anzeinimiovsky in his book “Midot HaTalmud,” by Doversh Torsh. Dedication by the compiler to the lawyer Boris Stavky, from July 19, 1925. (3) 154 page. 23cm. Binding is disconnected and defective, moth damage and stains, generally ok to good condition.

On the Torah by Elimelech Gradzinsk. Anterior binding with first pages, and the spine, are disconnected, moth marks, stains, generally good condition.

With Bayit Chadash by Rabbeinu Yoel Sirkish, Av Beit Din of Krakow. 176 pages. 32.5cm. Binding has signatures of ownership, binding is disconnected, most of the book has moth marks.

Masechet Nidah with Rashi’s commentary and Tosafot and Psakei Tosafot, Ein Mishpat, as printed in Basilia, Constantinople, 1699. 2 covers, first (a little restored) is illustrated with wood engravings, handsome, with figures of Moshe and Aharon, David and Shlomo. With Mishnayot Seder Taharot on a separate cover, with commentary of the Rambam and Rabbineu Shimshon the Tosafot of Shanza, Frankfurt der Oder, 1721. (Number of lone pages underwent light restoration with light damage to the text). At the end of the book is the signature of “Avraham Natan of Offenbach.” 2. Masechet Psachim (restored and defective cover with light damage to the text on the second side), masechet Beitza, masechet hagigah, masechet mo’ed katan, with Rashi’s commentary and Tosafto and Psakei Tosafot and the Rosh and Psakei HaRosh and commentary of the Rambam, (separate fcovers). Frankfurt am Mein, 1721. New binding a little worn, different sizes, stains from moisture, wear, generally ok to good condition.

Commentary on Pikrei Avot from collection of the sages of the Rishonim, “and also commentary from two old parchment siddurs,” by Rav Yehiel Michal Morapchik, with endorsement of the Shev Yaakov, and at the end a collection of various matters. At the end of the book are 4 handwritten pages of prayer before ritual slaughter, and a list of signs by the Shulchan Aruch for laws of ritual slaughter (shechita). Bound with metal clasps for closing. 131 page, 12cm (pocket format). Binding and first page are taped with light damage to text. Stains and wear, generally good condition.

With commentary of the She’ilat Shalom and the Rishon LeZiyyon Rabbi Yishaya Berlin-Pik, first edition printed of this commentary. (58 pages) Generally very good condition, stains.

On the five books of Torah, and haftaroth and five megillot. 19cm. (1), 155, 22, 52 page. New binding, cover is peeling a little at its bottom, stains from moisture, wear, generally good condition.

On the Torah—sefer Shmot (Exodus), by Rabbi Yaakov of Izitza, Lublin. First edition, defective binding, the spine is new, wear, a little moth marks, stains from moisture and other, generally ok to good condition.

Commentary on Song of Songs in the revealed and hidden Torah by Rav Binyamin of Zalitz. Only edition, signature of ownership. Not bound, cover is disconnected and defective, not the size of the book, moth marks all over with heavy damage to text, first pages are defective in the margins, copy is missing a section, we have before us only until p. 83, stains, generally awful condition.

2 sections: Drashot on the haftaroth, and on a separate cover “Alon Bechot,” on Eicha and Shivah D’Nehemata, by Rabbeinu Yehonatan Ivshitz. Bound together. Signature of ownership. (2), 92, 53, (1) page. (4) 17 page. 20cm. Order of pages is different than appears in the listing from the factory bibliography. Moth marks with damage to the text, stains from time and other, wear, generally ok condition.

On the cover is the stamp of Rabbi Yehiel Eichel Toyvesh, there is another chopped signature. Rabbi Yehiel Eichel Toyvesh was the grandson of the “Karnei Ra’am,” was Av Beit Din of Sadigura and compiler of “shem Olam.” New binding, light moth marks, generally good condition.

With Minchah and Maariv for regular days and Motzash prayers and Birkat HaLevana, in addition is Seder Kriyat Shema al HaMita. Redelheim. Number of illustrations in the book. Size: 6.5x11cm, no spine, moth damage, stains, generally good condition.

Book by Johannis Buxtorsii, an Operis Talmudici, “new and copious.” In the book is a list of Jewish books organized alphabetically with exegesis on the books, a short one on the content of the Shas, and a book of abbreviations. The book is in Hebrew and Latin. Parchment binding, a little moth damage, stains and wear, generally good condition.

Five volumes of the book on the Five Books of Torah and Five MEgillot by Rabbi Yitzhak ben Arama. With commentary by Rav Haim Yosef Pollak, and addition of book “Chazot Kasheh.” Pressburg, 1849. First edition with these editions. Five sections, not bound, cover of Leviticus is lightly restored, moth marks, stains, generally bad to good condition.

Interpretations and notes on Masechet Avodah Zara, Rabbi Shlomo Elgazi, with signatures of ownership. Not bound, title page is defective and restored with a little damage to the text, the cover page and first pages and last page are disconnected, moth damage, stains.

Winograd—Otzer Sifrei HaGra 756. There are a number of handwritten glosses in the book that weren’t checked. Anterior and spinal binding are missing, the cover page and first pages are disconnected, moth damage, stains, generally good to very good condition.

Introduction of the book, “Elkana ben Yerucham ben Avigdor of the Ram family said…Eliyahu came, and tought me many secrets, on the ways of true Kabbalah and taught me every secret of the miracles that were hidden and all of the Mishkan and the sacrifices and the holidays…and with this father…to explain…secrets that I received,” the book includes an exegesis only on Parshat Bereishit. Moth marks on the binding, stains, generally ok condition.

With signature of Rabbi Moshe Hertzfeld, the Av Beit Din of Silash-Balash, student of the Chatam Sofer and son-in-law of Rabbi Daniel Prostitz (1816-1876). 2. Bigdei Kehuna, questions and answers and chiddushei halachot by Rav Meshalem Zalman bar Shlomo HaKohen, Furth, 1807, first edition (111 page). Different sizes and conditions.

One of the earliest books of Kabbalah, and it is an exegesis on the Aggadot of the Shas, by Rabbi Todros Abulafiya. With endorsements of the Maggid, Rabbi Yisrael of Kozhnitz, and Rabbi Naftali Zvi Horwitz of Rufshitz (in the name of Rabbi Menahem Mendel of Rimnov). In the margins of the page of endorsements is the endorsement by the name of “HaKhozeh,” of Lublin: “Yaakov Yitzhak of Lantzot closed himself off and would not endorse the printing of books…however, from his great love of this holy book, he himself signed the signature pamphlet, and his signature will stand in place of an endorsement.” 20cm, (3) 48 page, new binding, the cover and most of the pages are restored, some have partial damage to the text, stains and wear, generally ok condition.

Collection of droshim on the Shalosh Regalim by the young Haim Yosef David Azoulay, 32 drashot. At the end of the book, pages 169-184, after a separate title page, is another book, glosses and corrections to the books of HaHida, Rosh David, Simhat HaRegel, and Sha’ar Yosef. Livorno 1788. First edition. Signature of ownership on the cover. New binding, cover is defective and partially restored, moth damage with light damage to the text on lone pages, stains from moisture, wear, generally ok to good condition.

Khelkat Mekhokek, exegesis on Job by Rav Moshe Alshich, compiled by Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Yanov. Bound together with Rav Pninim, exegesis on Proverbs.
