Yefeh Sha’ah, droshim on mitzvoth and holidays through kabbalah, by the kabbalist Rabbi Shlomo ben Yehuda HaKohen of Salonika, Jerusalem 1902. The first is one volume, the rest are bound together. Expounds upon the borders, the cities, and the holy places mentioned in Tanach, in the Talmud, in the Midrash Raba, and in the books of Josephus; by Yitzhak Goldhar of Jerusalem. With endorsements by rabbis of Jerusalem, the Grich Zonenfeld, Rav Kook, and more. Moth marks, stains, and wear over time, generally good condition. 2. Die Ershte Schrit fun Yishuv Eretz Yisrael (The First Step in Settling the Land)—published by HaMeir, New York 1918. Book by Yisrael Belkind about the activity of the Zionist organizations for settling the land of Israel. Book in Yiddish, with old pictures of Israel. Various stains, generally good condition. 3. Jerusalem von Sven Hedin, Leipzig 1918, book on Jerusalem in German by the Swedish researcher Sven Anders Hedin (1865-1952) with photographs, illustrations, and maps of Jerusalem. Binding is a little frayed, various stains. Generally good condition. 4. La Terre Sainte (book on the Holy Land), 1867, about the journey of the priest Jean-Jacques Bourassé (1813-1872), a French archaeologist and historian, in Israel, with illustrations by Karl Girarda. Generally very good condition. 5. Booklet A Matna Fon Jerusalem (A Gift from Jerusalem)—Jerusalem 1933. A nice booklet in Yiddish, about the activity of the Torat Haim HaKlalit yeshiva in Jerusalem. With pictures of Jerusalem from that period. A few defects to the dustjacket, moth marks, generally good condition.

1. Sama D’Hayai—only edition, 1739. Q&A by Rabbi Haim Yaakov ben Yaakov David of Tzfat, known as the “Tzror HaHayyim.” Moth damage and various damage from wear. Generally ok to good condition. 2. Shevet Yehuda—1709. Miniature. “Composition of the Doctor and Rabbi Shlomo ben Virga, a great sage and kabbalist of Spain, on the history of the people of Israel during 1648-9 and more, and arguments about faith. Printed by Shlomo Propus in Amsterdam, fragile pages, the last page and page 6 are missing. Various tears in the pages with a little missing text. Generally ok condition. 3. Pnei Aryeh—1790. Page numbering is messed up, it seems that the copy is meant to fill in missing editions. Q&A by Rabbi Avarya Leib of Breslau, rabbi of Amdin and Rotterdam. Cover is damaged and partially missing, tears in a number of early pages, generally ok condition. Stains, damage from moisture and wear.
