Only edition, Vilna 1873. Binding disconnected, generally good condition. There is a signature and stamp of ownership of Rabbi Yehoshua DovGrodzitzky, son-in-law of Rabbi AharonYa’akowitz, son-in-law of Rabbi Aryeh Levin. He was a rosh yeshiva of Bialystock in Poland, after which his son-in-law named his yeshiva. Authored Kodshei Yehoshua on the Shas, with a wonderful endorsement from his rabbi Gaon Rabbi Baruch Dvo Leibowitz. Published TosafotHaRosh on the BavaMetziya. Studied in a hevruta with Rabbi Haim Shmuelowitz. Among his many students: Rabbi YerachmielUngerisher, head of the Beit Midrash Elyon yeshiva. Sons: Rabbi Haim Simcha, Rabbi Avraham Baruch. Sons-in-law: Rabbi Haim Melin, Rabbi Naftali Malamud (the Imrei Noam), Rav Ephraim Kohen, Rav David Bistritz, and Rav Shmuel Meir.
